View Full Version : Hangar 9 1/4 Piper Cub
As seen here: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=HAN4575
Has 3 flights. Flies nice. Too big for me to deal with though. Need to fund another project. :)
1050.00 Reasonable offers are also accepted. That includes an AR9000 Spektrum receiver w/ 2 remote receivers. Bind it and fly it!

Took a peek at the link... Beautiful airplane. A shame they had to cover it with a plastic film.
If I were only gainfully employed right now... <sigh> (Interviews for another Federal Reserve position on Monday - but in San Francisco) <double sigh> :(

In reply to above statement: In my experience so far last year, and mostly this year, if one of us were to adopt this beautiful model, I would reccomend sealing the edges of the covering with clear Klasskote.

This plane is a joy to fly! Ken passed the transmitter around last week at the field. It left the ground in 3' and has plenty of power. Hangar 9 has a sweet float kit for this as well:

I flew a couple tanks in it, I love it. It even does rolling circles and very low inverted passes :).
Ken did a great job with the build and the covering looks immaculate.
+1 for a great plane
The picture with floats is beautiful! If it were mine I'd have to spring for them.
Someone should buy this. It needs a good home!
