Does anyone know how to disassemble the stock motor that comes with the Trex 500? Last week when I crashed mine a couple of the wire going into the case were cut through the insulation. I want to replace them, or at least heatshrink each wire seperately.
I do not see any screws holding the motor together.:arrrggghhh:
Please help, I can't really afford a new motor.:(
Thank you.:)

Thanks Strobe. The video shows exactly how to take it apart. Again your knowlege has been a great help.:D:D
With any luck I should have it in the air tomorrow sometime.

Well I took the motor apart, check the wires as best I could, put heatshrink on each of the three wires, then reassembled it. I think I caused some bearing damage somewhere in the rebuilding process. So now I will probably need to rebuild it again with new bearings this time. But at least it still works.:)
Strobe do you have any stock motors you would be willing to sell?:)
My fun bucket is full so, have a great night.:D
