Hey everyone,

I am on net shopping for good main and tail rotor blades for my 450. I keep reading and reading reviews and experiences on blade, but my head is starting to spin. I decided to filter out the large world of the web to the pilots on this forum.

Can you give me a hand her and direct me to what you have found to be great blade matches for main and tail rotors on 450 heli's?

I want to get off of my cheap wooden stock blades and see how the heli is on good blades.

Cheers

Jim

Let me know what you think. I run the stock Align carbon fibers and I like them more than the woodies. Never could justify getting different brands as I suspect they would all feel pretty much the same on that size of helicoptor. (at my proficiency level)

You'll like any of the name brand blades more than the woodies I'm sure. The new thunder power blades look neat. People also like the Radix/CY products.

Radix makes some good blades for the 450... hell, all helicopters. powerhelis.com would have the largest inventory since that is Curtis' store.

Thanks for the replies guys. I didn't get popular branded blades, but decided to get CF Pro-3d blades. Inexpensive and the way I figure right now considering my experience level (witch doesn’t include 3d flight), any blades that I get other than the stock esky blades will be a major improvement.

I also ended up getting some new servos to replace the stock esky servos and a larger esc to replace the stock one that is known to start on fire. Kinda excited to start playing and the parts should be here end of the week.
