Is there, or will there be, anyone plowing the road and part of our parking area soon?
With the forecast of warmer weather I was hoping to get out and fly. I drove by yesterday and you will for sure need a good 4x4 to get back there now, if you are lucky. I need new tires so I did not try. I am willing to plow (and I will try this week after I dig out my trailer). All I have is my ATV, but I will give it a shot. Not sure how well it will work. ![]() Anyone willing to pull me out if I get stuck??

If you or anyone does plow, the grass on our field is very important right now. DO NOT hit the grass with the plow. Leave at least a 1-2" layer of snow.
I could get it plow if needed, but not until the latter part of next week.

You got it on the 1 - 2". Is that the same ruler used to measure 6"
![]() All smartassing aside, I have my plow set to a minumum of 1" right now and can easily move it to 2". I am really not sure it would be able to plow at all. But I wanted to check. Anyway, it is still not that nice out with the wind blowing. Damn weather people and their promisses of warmups. ![]() I just flew about 1/4 tank at a farmers field by my house. My face was frozen. ![]() Off I go to dig out my trailer then.

Steve,
If you (or anybody else) is going out to plow, let me know (post or PM me) since I have some time on my hands, I may as well do my part. Besides, going to the field to fly was part of my 2010 plans ![]() I don't have a plow, but I have a snow thrower (if there's room on the trailer) or I can bring a shovel for those "detail" areas that a plow may be too big for.

There would be room on my trailer for a snow thrower. I was thinking of going tomorrow, but if I am going to have help then maybe Saturday would be better. Then we could fly after we were done plowing. I would go Friday night but I have this cool party I am going to. ![]() Send me a PM with contact info I will get in touch.

Well the plowing did not go so good. It was a bitch busting through the big pile at the end of the road. Once through I started making a long enough area to get my truck/trailer backed in and off the road, because knew I was going to be at this all day.
Well lucky for me my plow broke so the day ended after about 1 1/2 hours. At least I was smart enough to bring some tools so I could get my ATV back on the trailer. It was the plow lifting mechanics that broke. MikeF, if you can still have someone plow out the road next week that would be great. It is just too much for an ATV when it hasn't been plowed before this. If you can not I have a guy who would do it for $100 the first time. He normally gets around $300 an hour. Don't know if your guy charges the club, or how you have that set up. I would put $50 towards the first plowing if that helps. Anyway, some photos from today.

I think that leaves me out. Mine only has 3500 lb axles and then you must subtract trailer weight from that.
How do you transport your bobcat?
