Got a bunch O crap on consignment that isn't going to be on the floor till next week. LOTS of 72mhz receivers, servos, Raptor parts including Quick UK upgrades, Tools, Align 450 parts, Saito 4 Stroke and OS 2 Stroke engines including Heli engines. A $15 "head locked" gyro and 401 Gyro NIB. Almost everything is new/never used, but has been sitting for a couple years. Just ask to snoop through the boxes at King Kong if interested.

Raptor stuff might be a possibility.
I'm looking for opinions; what options do I have for converting my Raptor 30 v2 to a larger size engine? is a 50 v2 the only way? I'm sure I can spend a ton on 30-size bling, but I'm more interested in whether I can actually go to a 50 size or larger, and not spend more than a new heli. ![]() According to Thunder Tiger (no surprise here) they no longer recommend conversion/upgrade, since they have built better versions since the v2 (in other words, buy an entirely new heli).

Either Doug or Jake should be able to answer that. I think Jake is the Raptor expert of the group

haha . . . Raptor expert
I did it, but I'm pretty sure by the time you're done, you're better off buying a new kit or just buying a used 50.I actually went from 30 v1 to 50 v1/v2 hybrid to 50 v2/Titan hybrid. If you can find cheap "garage sale" deals, then upgrading can be pretty reasonable. Unlike the 30 V1 which only involved changing the motor mount, gearing, boom, and belt, TT actually has a lot of 30 specific parts on the current 50. This means you'll need to upgrade the clutch, clutch bell, start shaft, etc etc to support the more powerful 50 motors (ie Hyper and Redline).
